Artful Agenda 2010

Monday, June 29th, 2009

An Artful Agenda invited me to contribute to their charity project again this year. With the range of items even more broad than last year, this year you can get daily planners, lesson planners, August to August diaries, and appointment books. The cause this year is supporting arts education in public schools.

You can buy the art-filled diaries online here!

I was also invited to take part in the Feed Your Soul project, hosted by Indie Fixx. If you want some free art, to brighten your home or feed your soul, go check it out!

Curvy 2009

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

The beginning of April saw the launch of Curvy 6, both book and Sydney exhibition. “CURVY 6 features the world’s most exciting female graphic artists, illustrators and designers in one highly collectible, limited edition book.” Once again I was thrilled to be included in the book, but this year I also got to include 3 works in the show too!

The Sydney exhibition is on until the 17th April at:
Mori Gallery, 168 Day Street Sydney (between China Town & Darling Harbour)

The Curvy 6 book is now on sale in good arty bookstores, and online here.

I’m off to Sydney for the rest of April to see the show, re-stock the AGNSW with my cards, and generally have a good time. My online store will be closed until I return and restock it again in early May. Please check back then for a new range of cards and limited edition prints.

An Artful Agenda

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

An Artful Agenda is a hip, unique daily planner with a hand-drawn image for each day of the year. Each week’s artwork is centered around a theme such as vintage toys, yoga poses or sock monkeys.”

The 2009 diary/daily planner featured art from 18 artists, and my artworks are all through it.
They sold out fast! But production for next year’s planner is already underway!

Curvy 2008

Friday, May 16th, 2008

The fifth issue of Curvy hit the stands this month. Curvy is a limited edition art book released annually, featuring “100 of the most exciting female graphic artists and illustrators from over 20 countries around the world”. I am thrilled to have been recognised among them this year, with my ‘extreme up-doo’ illustration being included in Curvy 5.

The book is available from art gallery bookstores, good arty bookshops, and the occasional really good newsagent. You can also buy it online.

Shop Update:

I’ve added postcards into my store this month, ‘extreme up-doo’ is among them. So if you’re a bit low on cash, you can still get a little bit of art with a little bit of spare change.

MixTape Zine

November saw the release of issue 2 of the Mix Tape zine. It’s a great publication created in Melbourne, which focuses on making time for the small things. It has an environmentally green slant and supports a more crafty, hands-on approach to life.

Issue 2 includes one of my paper-cut illustrations, along with an article I wrote about developing friendships on the other side of the globe with people who share a similar mindset. And how by doing so you can learn a lot about how your town measures up on the “greenness” scale, and can pick up tips to improve.
