Wednesday, March 12th, 2014I Love You More Than…
Tuesday, January 28th, 2014A few months back a new range of cards was launched by Modern Family Cards, (a new card company I’m proud to be doing work for). We recently received this lovely feedback from a customer who had purchased my design…
“I wanted to let you know how much I love your saying – I love you more than all the hairs on all the bears. After ordering with you I kissed my 9yr old daughter goodnight & said your quote. She was tickled pink! She couldn’t stop giggling. The very next night she kissed me goodnight & said, Mum I love you more than all the scales on all the fish. !!!! It had taken her all day to think of a comeback. I love it! Will be saving the Bear card for her birthday, she will be beside herself.”
Make someone’s day! Order this card from Modern Family Cards.
Never Never Creek
Tuesday, April 9th, 2013A little while back the kind folk at Lalaland asked me to create a new design for them. So I came up with this sleepy platypus design, titled “Never Never Creek”. Now available as a print from Lalaland.
Once again I converted the design into something bed-worthy!
Platypus pillowcases available in my Etsy shop.
Eucalyptus
Saturday, February 9th, 2013A little while back I was invited by Spoonful Zine to create a flower; a eucalyptus, with its Victorian meaning of “protection”, to be included in Issue 8 alongside flowers created by other artists.
An oversized bloom, with a protective knitted collar.
Now I’ve made it into a pillowcase set, available in my Etsy shop.
My Bearded Pigeon
Saturday, March 10th, 2012Recently I did a photoshoot for my good friend Cath; (maker of gorgeous cushions, mind and hands behind My Bearded Pigeon), for her Etsy Featured Seller interview.
Yay Cath!
Lot Number 2
Monday, January 24th, 2011The first lot for the Art 4 Heart auction (raising money for the QLD Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal), wrapped up over the weekend. And I am astounded, and also very proud to pass on the news that together we raised $2,440!
So far…
Now it’s time for Lot Number 2. Even more artists (including Sarah McNeil, one of my all time favourites), even more lovely art, and another chance to nab yourself something wonderful for your walls this new year, all whilst helping those in need.
Go have a peepsee: Art 4 Heart.
Art 4 Heart
Tuesday, January 18th, 2011In the wake of the terrible floods in Queensland, a bunch of artists have pulled together and donated artworks to help. We’ve created an art auction to raise some much needed funds for the QLD Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal. Please go and have a look-see, there is some amazing work up for Auction and it’s for a really good cause. Starts TODAY!
All final bids are paid directly to the official Disaster Relief Appeal, and your receipt of donation is what we use as proof of purchase. So not only are you doing a great deed by donating to help so many people in desperate need, but you also get some amazing art to keep for yourself! Win win, hey?
My donation is a set of 2 prints featuring native birds from my region.
Bidding starts Tuesday 18th January 10:00am – and closes at 5pm on 22nd January. The second auction follows. All items have a starting bid price much lower than normal retail price too, just a little extra incentive.

Borrowed Suitcase Zine
Sunday, October 24th, 2010I was invited to be part of one of Mel Stringer’s great zines. (Mel is well known for her zines, but probably more recognised for her illustration work in Frankie Magazine).
Borrowed Suitcase is collection of works by a stack of really great zine artists and illustrators from all over the world. It’s out now and can be bought online here for the measly spare-change sum of $4!
