Marking a year since her beloved father passed away. Then 3 days later discovering she has a sister (and niece and nephew) in Poland… and learning of life stories that unfurled from there.
A close bond and friendship has grown between her and her sister over the past year. This painting a gift for when they recently met for the first time, in Poland.
There was a lot riding on this one. Very special indeed.
And I was genuinely touched to receive the beautiful photo of the moment the painting was received as a gift.
